AU – Find Some Common Ground

└ Sebastian may have been a ruthless man but even he got lonely sometimes.

Who even needs S3? We’ve got entire universes and storylines right here on Tumblr.

This could practically be a gifset for Zaganthi and perryvic’s Kill Tonight series.  Also known as ‘that post-Reichenbach John/Moran story I not only like, but in which I’ve ended up actually rooting for John and Moran even after Sherlock shows his not-dead ass up again.’

It’s just…they’re both so badass and broken, and at first just having somebody around keeps them both from doing something stupid, and then they turn out to be good for each other, and then they turn out to be total black ops BAMFs together.  Moran is refreshingly more than Moriarty’s pitbull in this (he helped manage the organization) and less than Moriarty’s lover (because Moriarty didn’t care about anybody but Sherlock, even if he wasn’t above having fun with a warm body).  The authors do such an amazing job of developing Moran that he very nearly becomes my favorite character in the story.  And given how many Watson pics I’ve got slathered around here, that should tell you how big a deal that is.

It’s a bit like a version of Many Roads to Hell where there’s a possibility of a happy ending.
