Being an artist and a writer, have you ever been inspired by your own work? Would you draw something based on your stories and write something based on your drawings, or is it more likely you’d get inspired by someone else’s work?

There are a couple of things I’ve drawn that I’ve been tempted to do something with, but I never actually have.  Mostly because I suspect it’d turn into long-ass stuff that I’d never finish. XD  Likewise, there are a few things I could probably draw, but it’s just more fun to draw things for other people. ^_^  (Though I just might break down and art something from Odalisque or Barrow Wight at some point.)

I think that mostly, it’s just easier to get excited about somebody else’s work.  It’s fresh, you know?  You don’t already know it inside and out.
