So in a chat this evening, Peter S. Beagle came up. The guy who wrote The Last Unicorn and A Fine and Private Place? And it just occurred to me that, as much as people go zonkers over Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and George R. R. Martin (rightfully so!), people don’t mention Peter Beagle that much.
It occurred to me that it’s probably because a lot people don’t realize he’s still alive and writing.
Like, you know he wrote a sequel to The Last Unicorn? It’s called Two Hearts. And he publishes new short stories on a fairly regular basis, in anthologies like Warriors and Songs of Love and Death. And he’s got some Young Adult books out, like Tamsin and You Know You’ve Got Dragons.
So. I just wanted you to know he’s still out there, available for the author-love. ^_^
