This is what I love about Martin’s acting.  Completely realistic, understated perfection.

Perfect human.

I love how he never goes for the big, obvious, dramatic reactions. It’s really grounding, and reminds us of the “human” half of the team, especially next to Benedict’s Sherlock, who is consistently the centre of attention, louder than life. They just balance each other so well. Augh. I need a moment.
