Guys!  Syracuse University’s iSchool has begun offering these ‘massive open online courses.’  They are free courses that run for approximately a month.  Anyone is able to register and take them.  You can choose how much to participate—since there’s no cost, there’s no pressure.

If you complete all the course requirements, you earn a certification recognizing that you completed the course.  If you wish to apply for credit for the course—say, if you’re pursuing a degree—then you can gain a tuition discount for doing so.

‘New Librarianship Master Class’ is the iSchool’s second MOOC offering.  The first was an entry-level course in data science.
