I don’t know how, but I passed 8000 followers the other day here on tumblr! I’m super happy that there are new people following my blog (hello!) and of course I’m very pleased to see that people that have been following me since I first started here (hello again!) are still hanging around. Clearly I haven’t scared you off… yet. You are all wonderful and generous people ♥
I often get messages about what some of my favourite fics are, a question that I never know how to answer. But now, no more! 😀
I’m going to do a livestream show, discussing some of my favourite stories in the Sherlock fandom. I’ve invited Prettyarbitrary, super smart and widely-read author and artist extraordinaire, to co-host with me and basically raise the tone of discourse. She’s also hilarious and has excellent taste in fic (my taste!!) ♥
So, if you like the sort of stuff I write and draw, you might want to come along. I want to try to pick stories that not everyone has read before (although if one of our favourite stories happens to be a ‘fandom classic’, of course we’ll talk about it) because there are a lot of brilliant fics out there that aren’t as known, as well as older favourites that newer fans don’t know about. We’ll show links to the stories during the stream, so people who haven’t read them can bookmark them. Maybe people can rec fics in the chat too?
It’s not going to be a super organised show, just a chat about fanfic. Hopefully it’ll be fun!
Not sure about date or time yet, because me and Pretty have a lot to talk about first, but I’ll keep you updated.
