“So…you became a scientist,” John said slowly, still a little shell-shocked about discovering a Frankenstein man living in a basement, even without the additional surprise of discovering he was some sort of genius.
“Well, naturally. What do you imagine someone would one do when living with such a unique condition, if not study it?”
John nodded slowly. ”How far have you got in your research, then?”
Sherlock held out his hands, fingers spread. ”Well. It’s been more in the way of…theoretical.” He eyed John speculatively. ”How do you feel about bunsen burners? And sewing?”
