also, if you’ve lived in more than one place/state it has you multiple times, remove all of your profile things. (it had my mom 4 times, all over our state. even from when she lived in a house 9 years ago.)

Hokey shmokes, I was on there. Did the thing, removed me from the profiles, but this is f’ing outrageous! Talk about a stalker’s dream! I also looked up my online handles and removed those, too.
This isn’t new or unique. Type in ‘people search’ on Google and a whole array of sites that let you look people up this way will come up. There are too many to get your name off all of them these days, honestly. And for that matter, the various search engines do a pretty good job too.
This is why they say that ‘privacy is an illusion’ and warn you about posting your information ANYWHERE. Somewhere out there, somebody can aggregate it and know more about you than you ever wanted to share.
