Anon who asked you about character alignments here: Ooh, I’m intrigued by your interpretation. I’ve seen a lot of “Sherlock and John are amoral, awful sociopaths!” hyperbole so it’s interesting to see someone who thinks that they both have Good alignments (or possibly Neutral in Sherlock’s case). Could you elaborate a bit on why you think John is Lawful Good and not Neutral Good like I originally believed?

How do you feel about Mofftiss turning Sherlock into a Bond-style “hero”? We know he’s willing to injure/maim/kill people when on assignment for Mycroft (or himself, eg. the end of ASiB, HLV) and now he’s pretty much owned by the government. Idk, Moffat especially just seems so thrilled by the idea of his show being full of psychopathic “good guys” that it makes me worry we’ll be seeing even more of this in future.

You know, of BBC had replaced either John or Sherlock with a female, people wouldn’t be able to even deny that there is some chemistry between them. But because they’re both men, people are denying the chemistry, because it’s not very “traditional” so romance doesn’t jump out at them. But if one of them were female, all the script and scenes would be very obviously romantic.
