Black Widow has taught me to stand in awe of Scarlet Johannsen’s acting ability. She has taken a face that is almost masklike in its symmetrical perfection, and imbued it with raw, flawed humanity that makes her more beautiful than she’s ever been in a still photograph. I can’t say how much I adore both the character and the actress.
