I’ve read so much stuff on Tumblr that I can’t remember whether I’ve read that one. ^_^ In any case, of course I’m familiar with the idea of Mary Mor(st)an. But as much fun as I think it is—and as cool as I think it would be if they actually went there—I don’t think they will. So I haven’t worked too hard to seek out theories on that front.
Oh man, though, it would be so badass if they did go there after all. I’d be so happy. I love the idea of Mary being a villain so terrifyingly kickass and effective that by the time Sherlock even sees her coming, she’s already got her hooks set in them both. I love the sacrifice and pain it’d cost them to rip free, and the idea of them bonding through that kind of ordeal. It’d make for a truly epic, emotional and suspenseful thriller of a storyline. But so far it’s never been that kind of show.
I won’t lie, though, there’s a warm ember of hope in my heart for it, buried down in there somewhere.
…Ugh, okay, fine, secretly I’m going OH GOD PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUNCH MY SKEPTICISM IN THE FACE AND DO THIS AUGGGHGHGHGHGH I CAN’T EVEN DEAL.
