I hope you’ve seen some of the blogged responses you’ve got under your Johnlock, not just for fans anymore, thing on different kinds of love, because they’re exactly what I’ve been trying to say for so long. Of course a totally valid interpretation of the show is extremely clearly and wonderfully gay, but these other people provide a different perspective and I just hope you saw them. Have a nice day :D

I agree we will never see an actual snog, or even an indication that their love is more than friendly. As for queer-baiting, I’m not exactly sure what that means. Does it mean that by continually dancing around the subject and even implying it in places, that they’re teasing us queer folk? If so, I don’t feel it’s particularly mean-spirited on either Moffat or Gatiss’ part. The joke has gone on for a while, admittedly, but I think the last two eps have started to lay it to rest.

My question to you is, why are you defending the heterosexual staus-quo? A thing that does not need a single point of defending? Does not need an argument in its favor. You are still for all intents and purposes, telling people they are free to ignore queerness and think it doesn’t exist, contrary to one of your last posts. The heterosexual reading, the platonic reading, the friendship reading doesn’t need defending. How about we defend some of the other kinds for once?
