Read MoreBig fan. Quick question. Any hope of addressing not only transgender perspectives, but also genetic intersexes, chimeras, and mosaics, in a sci-fi context? For example, Claire Ainsworth has a great article at Nature, titled “Sex Redefined”, on how incredibly complex the subject is just for us humans (who don’t even have alt modes!). I’d love to see Cybertronians address the possibility that they might be male in one mode and female in another, or indeed, that they are ALL female, to some extent.
