We’ll be using Chatzy. That service was picked for several reasons including the very important ability for people to set the text size, text color, background color, etc. so it meets their needs. (Sadly that is not a feature of a number of other services.)
I’ve created a sample room people can go poke around in if they want to see how things work.

You don’t need a Chatzy account to enter the room—you can simply pick a name and go.
Since this is just a sample room, it can only hold 10 people at once. It’s also slightly less customized than the rooms we’ll be using during the con.
I know a number of people aren’t used to text-based chat rooms, so I’ll also be opening the Con Suite chat room a little before the other Unlocked activities begin. That way you’ll have an even better chance to hang out and get used to how it all works.
