Dammit, where did my smut sense go? I had it right here like two days ago.
HAH I’ve got a reply button on this one! Does anybody else see it?
I actually made this post because I wanted to see what’d happen if I set my ‘who can reply’ permissions to ‘everybody’ and then made a new post. I figured that maybe you can’t reply to any post that was made before the reply feature was implemented. Which indeed seems to be the case.
And you don’t get the “who can reply” permission setting until you get replies, it seems. *sigh*
It’ll come soon enough, I’m sure!
I’m noticing that replies don’t show up in the notes on the single post view, and the reply function doesn’t exist there either. Looks like you can only view replies and leave replies from your dash or from your activity feed, at least currently. As I remember, this is how it worked before, too. (It may be for the best anyway, since it makes it more difficult for people to bother you via old posts.)
Also I notice that I can’t reply to replies unless I have XKit installed.
I just re-enabled new XKit, though, and replies still work perfectly well with it. For example:

shaped like a small balloon and that opened this to me. I have no real
idea of how I got any of these things to work since my Internet skill
level is often scream, close my eyes and hit a key and hope …
