Not sure if anyone has pointed this out, but I remember this symbol appearing in an earlier comic on MTMTE, ha I can’t remember the exact number, and also when skids went through the portal on Luna 1. Nautica says that on Troja Major, a museum had an exhibit on an “old order.” It was also discussed to be a coat of arms. Perceptor adds that someone from the “Circle of Light” registered it to be affiliated with the Knights of Cybertron. ohohohoh.
Trust me I have no idea what their correlation is with the Knights or these weird people but I happened to catch this and it just seemed weird to me. Or maybe this has been proven and I’m just out-of-loop. (-_-)
This has still gone unanswered and I believe that this is going to be a late-arrival in the Season 3 story of MTMTE. We don’t know if Troja Major is a Caminus place, an alien planet or a Cybertronian war colony, so that’s a problem since it is given that Nautica has had the chance to visit all three types of locations, though the war colony might be stretching it.
The symbol is indeed interesting to look at, especially as it isn’t just a coat of arms, but “heraldic” symbol as well, though it wasn’t defined just what kind of heraldic it was, if it was related to some nobility or if it is a harbinger.
As you said, Skids did “see” that symbol during his brief visit to “Cyberutopia”.
The symbol was also emblazoned on Luna-1, a moon that has been lost for ages and its disappearance linked with the Cybertronian origin story, that kind of “lost”.
And most importantly, it is on the map that was inside the Matrix of Leadership.
This is definitely part of the ongoing story. I’d assumed that it was a religious symbol for either Primus, the Matrix or Cybertron. Then again, I’d also assumed that what that giant talking spark was failing to tell Skids was something about the Guiding Hand. But now that I see it next to a picture of Luna 1, I’m thinking those could be moons or planets (colonies?) instead.
Then again, I’ve always had this speculation that Cybertron might actually BE Primus? In either a literal or spiritual sense. In which case, it could be about planets/the Guiding Hand after all.
It does also look a bit like Rung’s alt mode, though, doesn’t it?
