Like everybody else, I’ve been looking for answers to “What do we do from here?” There are lots of good answers popping up out there. I’m sure those are just the beginning.
But it occurs to me that one very important thing we can do is simply to keep shouting. One of the most poisonous things to come out of this election is that the bigots feel empowered. So we need to be loud. We need to keep our eye on them. We need to talk about what we see them doing. We (when we can do it safely, for those of us who can do it safely) especially need to do this in mixed political spaces, because the hatemongers are a small minority–they really are–and even many moderate conservatives find them offensive and hateful.
So we keep shouting. Keep talking. Point them out to the people around us so that they can’t be invisible and that they can’t feel normalized.
You seem to think all folk that didn’t vote for Hillary are bigots, why?
You seem to be reading things into my post that aren’t there, my friend.

What part of that says to you that I think everyone who didn’t vote for Hillary is a bigot?
