It doesn’t go down this way, but as a ‘what if,’ I guess the timeline could roughly fit that! She’d be a bit younger than her given age in canon, but not by a lot.
In this case, one day Gabriel is going to meet a Mexican hacker and be VERY surprised.
Unfortunately they’d probably be enemies, because in this case Sombra was created and raised for a very specific purpose.
Honestly it doesn’t work that well if you like Sombra as she is, because she would be a wildly different person in temperament, goals and motivations. I also doubt they’d have trained her to be a hacker. These experiments were intended to develop super-soldiers, people whose enhanced physical abilities and instincts would enable them to be savage fighters. She would be trained as a ruthless killer to forward the goals of the people who created her, and if her pride, stubbornness, or intellect led her to question that, it would go poorly with her.
That said, there is no way Gabriel or Jack would allow this to stand. They’d do their best to find a way to shake her and those like her free of the people who made them, and bring down the entire organization.
Then again, the organization isn’t necessarily what it looks like, and they would have a real mess on their hands.
