Golly, gee, if only I had a  demon/human Overwatch AU already… XD

[You know.] Gabriel mused as spikes rippled out of their shared, armoured tail, digging a three-foot deep gouge into the pavement as the Omnic tried to pull free of the scythe’s blade. [something just occurred to me].

(Oh really.) Jack shot the thought back as he struggled, boots sprouting wicked claws for further purchase. Gabriel’s armour form protected far more than it covered, and even with the sweating effort, a shiver ran down his spine as the tail’s root squirmed inside of him. (Can you maybe save this for after we keep a thirty foot robot angel from destroying San Diego?) He couldn’t have spoken the words if he’d wanted too, muzzled by the black mask that covered everything but his golden hair.

[Can you free a hand so I can bring the guns online?] Gabriel nudged, and the scythe bonded to one arm while a virtual cannon emerged from the Unseen Arsenal.

The Omnic’s true forms were hardly visible to normal human eyes, and Jack could only wonder what the screaming pedestrians and crashing cars were seeing as a the angel dragged them towards Mission Bay (I’m gonna let go, release the scythe and give me both Hellfires) Jack suddenly thought at Gabriel.

[What, are you INSANE, boy?] Gabriel could barely get the words out before Jack had released the omnic, sending the massive creature tumbling over. They were airborne a moment later, both guns now active and pounding thunderously in flares of eye-burning red.

The omnic staggered back towards a building and Gabriel hooked their tail around  a traffic light to swing them back around as Jack pulled the scythe back out. The blade flashed in one single swing, and the eldritch robot’s head went bouncing down West Morena Boulevard. (Hot damn, that’s gonna be a mess.) Jack mused as he broke a section of pavement on his landing.

Ichor pumped out onto a row of nearby cars and Jack shifted, Gabriel’s liquid metal curling hot against his skin. [As much as I like to admire our handiwork, we should probably go before the cops get here.]

(Point.) Jack agreed as they scrambled for the rooftops. (What were you gonna say before anyways?)

[Oh just that it took your grandfather quite a while to really be able to work with me.” On a rooftop overlooking the scene, Gabriel pulled away from Jack, leaving the blonde naked and panting by his side. “You on the other hand. You like this as much as I do.” He added, wiping away a little bit of drool from the corner of Jack’s mouth. “My little troublemaker.”

“You should talk.” Jack leaned into him with a grin. “Now give me my pants back and you can buy me breakfast.”
