Post-Reichenbach, I just want to see glimpses of them struggling with making their relationship work when there’s pain and history between them now, and they have to earn what they want. Where there isn’t a magical fix-it button and they have good days and hard days, and it’s not always fun because love isn’t always pretty.
Whiskeydaisy wrote that story for me, and made it better. This is one of the most romantic things I’ve ever read, because how does it get more romantic than when relationships suck-a-bunch and the only reason you stick around for them is because the other person is worth it?
