There are some nice fics of less traditional johnlock relationships, like straight John/asexual Sherlock who don’t have sex, and I-don’t-know-what John/asexual Sherlock who do a lot of sexual things, but not everything. I don’t know how much they are like the real world, but at least it’s a window to see what these relationships *could* be like, for those of us (like me) who are fuzzy on the differences.

I found your meta on the asexual committed queer relationship fascinating. Would you mind going into detail about what that includes? No sex, got it … but would such a pair cuddle? Are there hugs and kisses? Do they share a bed (just to sleep)? I think a sticking point is that a lot of folks equate asexual with ascetic, but they’d need some kind of physical aspect to a relationship just to know there IS one.
