We have 10000000000 stories of warrior dudes who go grey and still romp about the land having fights and shit, but women never get that. Ever. Either they stay young and hot forever so you can ogle them to your heart’s desire, or they’re already old and have some kind of magic involved (which keeps them from being portrayed as active) and they don’t ever, ever, ever just get to keep their fighting careers. You just don’t ever get to see older women in media being active at all and seeing Ana being given the same treatment as Reinhardt and Reyes and Morrison?
