Yeah, I actually first imagined this AU from a future point from this story, but while I was trying to imagine how they got to where they are, the first full plot that formed itself was the origin story. So I wrote it, because you can’t really argue with the beginning as a place to start. 😀
Yes, Gabriel using compulsion on Jack will be…interesting. (Messy? Violent? Sexy?) They have a very complicated relationship ahead of them.
I envision them as going their separate ways after this, bitterness and guilt forcing them apart. But they keep finding their way back to each other because they really do love each other (and that’s exactly what drives it all).
