Ahhhh, that’s such a kind offer! For the moment, I have other stuff lined up that I want to work on, but maybe at some point! I’ve tried coming back to this one a few times and there just seems to be no budging it. That’s usually a sign that I got onto a wrong approach and need to rewrite.
Unfortunately when it takes me this long to figure out how to fix it, it’s also often a sign that I don’t really WANT to write the story as it wants to be, or else that large chunks of text I can’t bear to part with are an obstacle that must be removed. In this case, I have a suspicion it might be the latter. There’s a lot here I don’t want to delete but probably need to.
I still really like the idea, though. At some point I’ll probably come back to it and try again. Or, sometimes sharing these helps me shake something loose. We’ll see!
