I think I understand why Sherlock gave John a nod to let him start it. I suppose Sherlock wanted to see what CAM might reveal but later, when he says “Can I do your eye now?” and John says “Sherlock?” what was the point in letting it go on? Sherlock says “Let him, I’m sorry, Let him” and I don’t know why. The whole thing was extremely disturbing. I would appreciate hearing your take on it.
