Oh but he is though. He just has to look at you right and you’d sink to your knees.
I’d far rather see him GO to his knees. ^_^ But he tries, the little darling.
Oh don’t get me wrong, I can see submission in him too. I can see him finding solace from it in a big way. But he’d have to have the right Dom and a shitload of limits.
(And oh fuck yes, imagine having him at your feet!)
Hahaha, oh yes. ^_^
Such interesting limits. I imagine he’d love to have his endurance and limits tested. But that’s always playing with fire, hanging one breath between ‘Fuck yes’ and ‘Oh hell no.’
And absolutely not just any Dom/me would do. Somebody who knows what they’re doing, obviously. It’d have to be somebody whose discernment he trusts at least as much as he trusts his own, and someone with the strength of body and character to let him lash out without being afraid he’ll end up doing damage. He’d want somebody who can PUT him down, because the fight is half the fun (or half the battle, depending on how he’s feeling).
Oooh, yes! I love the idea of predicament bondage with John. Something where he can show his strength and his endurance. And pain. I see John as taking pain for punishment and solace together.
But yes. Definitely a strong and intuitive Dom. Someone John respects and trusts (*cough*Greg*cough*) who’s tough enough to take him down in a fight.
I think also someone who can appreciate that John’s submission is a gift and a choice. Someone who doesn’t think they can solve his problems for him. I see John as needing to find his own solutions to things. He’s so very independent, it’s what’s kept him safe, he couldn’t have a Dom who was going to interfere with that.
I do see with him with Greg. They’ve both got that thunder in them, but they’re also very human. Far more so than Sherlock or Mycroft.
Yeah, in a lot of scenarios, I can see John and Greg having the most supportive relationship out of the men on the show. They, you know, CARE. Sherlock and Mycroft are perceptive as all fuck and they could give someone a REAL good time. But when it comes to the human connection, it just comes so much more naturally to John and Lestrade.
I mean obviously Sherlock adores John and vice versa. And I truly think that Sherlock is not clueless about people; he mostly just willfully ignores their desires and needs because he’s got better things to do. (AKA he’s a dick.) But I can see the emotional connection coming easily to John and Greg in a way I think either of the Holmes brothers would have to work harder for.
