I just…I just have a lot of feels with this one okay?? John and Sherlock are characterized perfectly and their shenanigans are even more adventurous and dangerous than ever. The concept was great without being cheesy or too much like an action movie. It really killed me though to think that John thought Sherlock had insincere motives for their “relationship” and didn’t say no. What’s horrible is the first time together I didn’t even pick up on John not being entirely consensual until the next chapter. The way their relationship ends up hurt my heart as well. Mainly though, if you’re going to read this you need to not worry so much on their relationship and focus on the action. It’s great writing, it really got the adrenaline pumping in me and I spent most of the time going “OH SHIT! OH NO! RUN!!! HURRY!”. Excellent fic, the characterization and descriptions were so well done that I could imagine the entire thing like it was a movie I was watching. It’s super long, but worth it!
