What if one day, a trans person did murder, rape, or beat somebody purely for being cis? Would you still deny that cisphobia exists? Think about it.
this whole blog is disgusting
Cisvoices should never be allowed near a computer ever.
Does it actually matter?
1: There’s a whole set of societal structures in place that actually puts out an effort to protect cis people from this kind of danger.
2: If it actually happened, there’s a legal system in place that can reasonably be counted on to do its best by the cis person/people who were wronged.
3: There are a hell of a lot fewer genderqueer people in the world than there are cis people. Even if cisphobia is a thing, cis people face at max maybe 5-10% of the threat from it that genderqueer people face from cis people.
4: It doesn’t fucking matter what you call it: assaulting, torturing, raping and murdering people is NEVER right. The existence or lack thereof of cisphobia makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO DIFFERENCE to the issue of genderqueer people deserving safety, respect, and representation. The same goes for sexuality, gender, religion, and race.
Also worth thinking about: if you don’t act like a colossal jackass to them, they won’t have any reason to hate you.
