A note on your earlier post about tea in fics etc. (i loved your comments btw). i never understood why people were so opposed to using a microwave to make tea (as in boil the water). I have never used a kettle, but I couldn’t imagine that boiled water tasted differently depending on how it was made. So thanks for confirming it! Also, I once read a book (a legit published novel) where one of the characters made cinnamon rolls during a 10 min. max conversation. Like did they realize yeast?

Some people claim to be able to taste the difference.  I imagine this is fair.  In China, there are legends of tea masters going on frigging QUESTS to acquire the purest, sweetest water with which to make tea for (insert personage of note here).  Long story short:  some people have very refined palates for the things they like.

Ten minutes.  Well, you never know.  Perhaps their characters talk very slowly.  Or…were they microwave cinnamon rolls?  I bet there’s a microwave recipe for them.  Now I’m tempted to go find it.
