What to do if you find a baby bird. Many thanks to the wildlife rehabilitators who have been tirelessly fielding calls and saving birds all season.

If it’s too small, the original chart is here.

DO NOT CONFUSE DROMAEOSAURS AND FLEDGLINGS.  It’s an easy and dangerous mistake to make.  While both look ungainly and have difficulty flying, a careful check for teeth will help you sort it out.

Also watch out for raven and crow fledglings.  While not dromaeosaurs, they will take any opportunity to roll you and steal everything of value that you’re carrying.
