Sherlock Committee Art Auction:

Come if convenient. -SH
If inconvenient, come anyway. -SH
Could be expensive. -SH

Bidding opened on April 7 at 12am EST in the Sherlock Committee’s art auction, with proceeds being donated to Tumbl-Con USA. The silent auction is being hosted on the Sherlock Committee’s LiveJournal from now through 11:59pm EST on April 13, and it’s already off to a cracking start.

The auction has artists offering up their talents in the form of commission slots, new and never before seen pre-made works, or a combination of the two. It features 65 of the Sherlock fandom’s most talented artists, including the Baker Street Babes’ very own Kafers, whose commission slots can be found and bid on right here. For a full list of artists, you can consult the Sherlock Artists Master Post, where everyone is organized in alphabetical order. You will likely find many of your favourites and might even discover a few new favourites as well.

Also at auction this week are the Teen Wolf, Merlin, and Hunger Games Committees. If interested, you can find out more on Tumbl-Con USA’s LiveJournal.

Feel free to drop a line in the Sherlock Committee’s ask box if you have any questions. And, most importantly, HAPPY BIDDING! May the odds be ever in your favour… oh, wait… wrong fandom. The game is afoot!

Guys!  Today is the last day of the Tumblr-con Sherlock Art Auction!  There are fantastic artists whose commissions and work still haven’t been snapped up yet, and others whose bids are still attractively low!

Artists whose high bids are currently $10 or less include:

aclockworkcreation, atarial, biloublargberriesbskizzle, crowleyisyourking, doodlepies, illalwayslovesherlock, indyfalcon, infinisea, jadethefirefox, jillandsarah, kafers, miss-catherine, mizkatt, mybenedict, radiotook (animated commission!), rsinq, shewolf294, simplecontagious, tea-is-hot, the-silence-wears-westwood,  thehighfunctioningsociopath, thinkintrixxter, whimsnicole

Check out their auctions!  Some of them are also accepting commissions that aren’t Sherlock-related.

Remember, you’re facing reduced competition since half the Sherlock fandom is off jamming in Atlanta this weekend!  So if you’ve got some loose pocket change and have always wanted to own an artist of your very own, NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE YOUR MOVE.
