I wanted to draw a selkie!John with his fat little seal tail. <3 And of course then Sherlock decided to come along and undress him a bit.
It seems like there’s something really remarkably indecent about undressing a selkie…or maybe I’ve just been staring at this for too long.
Also, surprise! This one’s going to be a collab! The enchanting dee-light over at bachin221b is coloring it. ^_^ I can’t wait; her colors are magnificent. So now you lot all get to wait impatiently for that along with me. Moo hoo. Ha ha.
Now I’m reminded of this fic, in which selkie!John returns to the sea after Sherlock’s death, leaving Sherlock to find him three years later (warnings for discussion of suicide).
I LOVE that fic! It’s what started me on my love of selkie!John to begin with. ^_^ You all should read that story, it’s one of my all-time favorites!
