This is me absolutely fucking loathing tumblr right now. How did this cesspool of demented UI and ridiculous constraints ever get to be the new fandom epicenter? Christ. We have to do better next time.
I KNOW. I’m so damn sick of this site. Now they’ve blocked the ability to reblog from yourself, even if you’re using a plugin (if it hasn’t caught up to you yet, guys, oh, you just wait for the fun to start!).
What the HELL do they have against people holding actual conversations, anyway? I’m just waiting for them to nuke the ability to use the Disqus app as the last bastion of actual socialization. Jesus, Tumblr doesn’t know what Tumblr is for. (Here’s a hint, guys: it’s for what the people who use it decide it’s for! You are doing the exact opposite of good user experience design!)
I cannot wait for this damn thing to die the death. You all can find me over at LJ, folks, where you can do almost everything you can do on Tumblr PLUS hold real conversations and find things you posted more than two hours ago.
