I’m very sorry but: What if pre-fall of Overwatch, Gabe and Jack were still friends/lovers. Gabe getting pissing because Jack keeps missing dates & meetings. Just blows him off. Gabe discovering that the UN is using the oh-so-pretty Golden Boy as an incentive to get what they want: using nanites or something to erase his memories after basically whoring Jack out. Gabe getting threatened to keep quiet- they can make Jack do whatever they want for short periods of time. “Accidents happen Reyes.”
